Atlanta Labor Leader Looks at Health Care Reform

Atlanta, GA – Charlie Flemming is the president of the Atlanta-North Georgia Labor Council an umbrella organization for 42 local unions. On Labor Day, he spoke with WABE's Denis O'Hayer. The interview is part of our continuing series of health reform conversations on "All Things Considered," with Atlanta leaders from different points of view. Flemming said labor will insist on the inclusion of a publicly-funded option but he admitted he and supporters of the public option might have to compromise.
