Beauty & the Beast at the Strand
The Atlanta Lyric Theatre presents the Disney classic in its new home.
By Lois Reitzes
Atlanta, Ga – The Atlanta Lyric Theater has been the city's lone professional musical theater company since its inception in 1980. Last year, New Orleans transplant Brandt Blocker was named as the new Artistic Director of the Lyric and is now shepherding the company into a new era. Blocker recently spoke with WABE's Lois Reitzes about the production and about the Lyric's new home on the Marietta square. Beauty & the Beast runs through December 21st.
