Braves Look To Improve Second Half of Season
By Rose Scott
Atlanta, GA – Tom Glavine is gone.
Jeff Francouer traded to division rivals the New York Mets.
And after 88 games the Atlanta Braves are in 3rd place in the National League East 6-games out of first.
Score Atlanta magazine sports writer Fletcher Proctor says the team has played moderately well for the first half of the season:
((pitching I would give an A-minus, offense I would give probably a C overall I would give this team a B-minus or C plus))
Since offense seems to be troublesome for the Braves, Proctor says the team should trade for a slugger like Adam Dunn who plays for the Washington Nationals:
((plug him out there in left field plug him in that number 4 spot -explosive))
So far this season Dunn has 23 homers and 62 RBIs.
After the All-Star Break teams have until July 31st to make a trade.
