Business group ranks ATL Mayoral Candidates
By Charles Edwards
Atlanta, GA – Today, top Atlanta business leaders released their rankings of the Mayoral candidates.
WABE's Charles Edwards reports
The Committee For a Better Atlanta consists of Delta Air Lines, Georgia Power and among others Equifax.
That company's government liason Jeff Wansley chairs the Committee. He says the group asked each candidate to list Atlanta's top three issues. He says other questions addressed the city's financial and public safety challenges.
WANSLEY: "The goal of the questionnaire is to show issues that are important to the business community and find out where the candidates stand on those issues."
Overall, Lisa Borders was first with 95 points 2 ahead of Kasim Reed. Mary Norwood got an 86 5 points ahead of Jesse Spikes. Peter Brownlowe scored 30 and Kyle Keyser did not participate.
