Emory and Georgia Tech Among Great Colleges To Work For

Atlanta, GA – Georgia Tech's Director of Employee Relations Services Pearl Alexander, says the honor is a reflection of the entire faculty and staff:
((it is very very important for us to be able to attract and retain the best in each of the faculty discipline and with the respect to staff skills as well))

Employees were asked questions regarding policies that affect their compensation and benefits, faculty-administration relations, and confidence in senior leadership.

Based on that, Emory president James Wagner says the honor is important during this recession:

((those are categories that seem to indicate confidence in each other and confidence in leadership of the institution that's going to be absolutely essential as we continue to work through these financial difficulties))

Emory employees also cited the university's pre-school for employees and a work life resource center.
