GBI Shifting Resources to Fight Child Sex Trafficking: A Talk with GBI Director Vernon Keenan

Atlanta, GA – Continuing WABE's coverage of the fight against child sex trafficking in Georgia: Last year, the Legislature passed, and the Governor signed, a new law to crack down on child sex trafficking. The bill gave the GBI new powers and duties to go after people who traffic children for sex. But now, it's budget time. WABE's Denis O'Hayer spoke with GBI director Vernon Keenan, about whether the Governor's proposed fiscal 2013 budget gives the GBI any new funds to enforce the new law.
