Atlanta, GA – If we were to turn Atlanta's clock back 43 years, to January 10, 1966, we'd find the Georgia House of Representatives had just denied a seat to the recently-elected Julian Bond. As a student at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Bond served as the Communications Director for SNCC-the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee-an organization formed to protest segregation in the South.
