Matt Ryan Wins Offensive Rookie Award

Atlanta, GA – It was nearly nine months ago when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement:
((with the third pick in the 2008 the Atlanta Falcons select Matt Ryan--crowd cheers))

Those cheers have continued throughout this season and now Matt Ryan has been named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the year.
The expectations of a rookie quarterback are usually simple learn the offense and adjust to the pro-game.

But Score Atlanta sports reporter Josh Bag-gree-in-skee says Ryan went beyond those expectations:
((he had a good season this not just for rookie quarterback..))

Ryan admits his focus is on the team's playoff game in Arizona but says the award is a nice achievement:

"it's pretty exciting when you find out it really is a great honor when you find I'm very humbled by it"

Ryan started every game for the Falcons, threw for over 3-thousand yards and 16 touchdowns.
