New Grady Hospital Board Talks About his "First Day on the Job"
By Steve Goss
Atlanta – Nearly one year ago, Georgia Pacific Chairman Emeritus Pete Correll formed a group of prominent business and civic leaders with the hope of saving the financially troubled Grady Hospital in Atlanta.
Monday, he was appointed Chairman of Grady's new non-profit board.
Correll says he has high hopes for the future of Grady.
WABE's Morning Edition host Steve Goss spoke with Correll about his "first day on the new job" and began by asking about the possibility of cuts to medical services offered at Grady.
