Orly Air Crash: This Date in Atlanta, 1962

Atlanta, GA – If we were to turn Atlanta's clock back to June 3rd, 1962, we'd find a city in shock and mourning. News had just arrived that a charter Air France jet bound for Atlanta had crashed on take-off from Orly Airport in Paris--killing nearly everyone on board. Georgia State University historian Cliff Kuhn recounts with WABE's Steve Goss the tragedy had on our city.
