Atlanta, GA – Georgia's primary elections are July 20th. Just 2 years ago, African-American men turned out in much higher numbers than usual, to help elect Barack Obama as President. At the time, leaders in the Democratic Party promised to get these newly-energized voters to turn out in subsequent elections. But this year, turnout among African-American men is expected to return to traditionally-low levels. To learn why, WABE's Denis O'Hayer spoke with Emory University political scientist Andra Gillespie.
