Atlanta, GA – A day in the life of Atlanta: October 12th, 1958. If we were to turn Atlanta's clock back 50 years to this date in 1958, we'd find a city shocked by the headlines that Atlanta's oldest and most prominent synagogue the Temple on Peachtree Street had been bombed. Here, Georgia State University historian Cliff Kuhn provides us background on the growing Jewish community in Atlanta.
