Atlanta, GA – As companies slowly start hiring again, they will face the question of how to make sure they have a diverse workforce.
Dr. Roosevelt Thomas is the founder of the Atlanta-based American Institute for Managing Diversity, which has worked with companies and other organizations for the past 25 years.
In a conversation earlier this month, Dr. Thomas told WABE's Denis O'Hayer that, all too often, managers try to hire people who look different; but think the same way thus missing out on the strengths true diversity can bring.
