Tracking a Flu Virus

Atlanta, GA – It's called surveillance it's a chain of reports that usually starts with a doctor reporting a flu case.
Dr. Walter Dowdle is with the Decatur based Task Force for Global health:
((these then get reported county then the state health department quite a network))
Afterwards he says state health officials are put on alert.
If there was a major outbreak, it's up to federal authorities to take the next step.
Dr. Louis Sullivan is a former U.S secretary of Health and Human Services:
